Pets of the Week

 

Every week we upload photos of some amazing pets who are looking for a great home. These pets have been checked and cared for by The Humane Society of Wayne County.  They are sponsoring this page to help these pets find the perfect human partner.

 

 

HERE ARE THE HSWC PETS OF THE WEEK

 

 

 

Leo is a 6 -year-old neutered male long haired black and white kitty. He was returned us because his owner had to relocate overseas. He is a quiet kitty who is not used to any animal companions. He is a large kitty who appreciate lots of petting on your lap, but prefers not to be picked up. His favorite place to sleep is under the bed. He is gentle, shy and independent. If you are interested in meeting him, please contact the shelter to make sure, he is not at one of our off-site adoption centers. Leo is available through our Adult Companion Program to those who qualify.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Duke is a 1 1/2 -year-old neutered male tan German Shepherd mix. He is a shy guy when you first meet him but turns into a puddle in your lap. He likes other dogs but didn’t live with a cat. He was raised with a toddler so we believe he would make a wonderful family pet. Stop by and spend some time with him.

Angel is a 10 -year-old spayed female short haired brown tabby kitty. She is sweet, affectionate and very mellow. She like cats, dogs and children. She likes to talk to you and loves to cuddle. She is also looking for a home that will help her lose some weight. She tips the scales at eighteen pounds. If you are interested in meeting her, please contact the shelter to make sure, she is not at one of our off-site adoption centers. Angel is available through our Adult Companion Program to those who qualify.

 

 

 

 

Linoshka is a 4-year-old spayed female black and white Husky mix. She is very sweet and a little shy She is growing her confidence every day and now looking for her forever home. She needs a home that will give her time to get used to her new surroundings. She has a great personality, maybe you can give her a new start at a loving home. Stop by and spend some time with her. Finn is a 3-year-old neutered male short haired brown Tabby kitty. He is an independent kitty looking for calm and patient home. He wants to be the King of his castle and the only pet in the home. He is looking for a home that will give him time to learn about his new surroundings.  If you are interested in meeting him, please contact the shelter to make sure he is not at one of our off-site adoption centers. Daisy is a 4-year-old spayed female black and white Husky mix. She came to the shelter with her litter of puppies. She was a wonderful Mom who is now looking for her forever home. She is gentle and shy, but needs a home that will give her time and the confidence with she needs in her new surroundings. She is very sweet, maybe you can give her a new start at a loving home.
