Here are the HSWC pets of the week.
Sage
Sage is a 12 year old neutered male black and white kitty. His owner could o longer care for him. He likes other cats, but does not like dogs. He is friendly and playful and is very loyal. He doesn’t like his tail or his belly touched. He knows how to use a scratching post and enjoys sitting in sunny windows. He lived with older children in his home. He is very sweet and just wants someone to love again. Maybe you’ll be the one to give him a forever home. Sage is available through our Adult Companion Program to those who qualify. Please contact the shelter is you are interested in meeting Sage he might be a one of our off-site adoption centers.
Sonic
Sonic is a 3 year old neutered male reddish brown Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He came to the as a stray. He should meet any resident dog and would do better in a home with older children due to intense eating habits. He know how to sit and stay. He will most likely chase cats. He is really sweet and enjoys running and playing in the yard. Sonic is available through our Adult Companion Program to those who qualify.
